Succeeding in today’s electric industry requires more than the safe delivery of reliable and affordable energy. It requires resilience. This highly interactive course will define resilience, how building it is vital for cooperatives now and discuss the role of the board in creating it. Participants will discuss the oversite role in board resilience in such areas as power supply, cybersecurity, supply chain, workforce (winning the war for talent), and grid hardening. The course closes with a focus on personal resilience and how it can be built on a personal level as well as in the boardroom.
