2023 AREA Annual Meeting

Dates: Apr 4 - 6, 2023   2023-04-04 2023-04-06 America/Chicago 2023 AREA Annual Meeting The 76th Annual Meeting of the Alabama Rural Electric Association of Cooperatives will be held on April 4-6, 2023, in Montgomery, Alabama.  The Headquarters for the Annual Meeting will be the Renaissance Montgomery Hotel and Convention Center.  The ACRE Golf Tournament will be held on Tuesday, April 4, at the Wynlakes Country Club in Montgomery, Alabama, and the Welcome Reception and Legislative Appreciation Reception will be held at the Renaissance Montgomery Hotel on Tuesday evening, April 4, following the golf tournament.Annual Meeting and Trade Show activities will begin on Wed. morning, April 5, and will conclude with the Closing Luncheon on Thurs., April 6.  CoBank will present a class for Board of Directors to address the value of the cooperative, equity management, debt management, financial forecasting and financial policy, through an exploration of the foundational elements of the balance sheet, income statement, the meaning of various categories, and applicable financial facts and concepts.
