In the work environment, these emotions that individuals bring often can impact not only the individual member’s behavior, but can greatly impact others. Those “others” can be internal and external customers, clients or members. The result can be a less than desirable relationship. Those emotions: --Such as jealousy, fear, love, joy, or grief --Provide us with knowledge of current emotional condition --Energize our thoughts and behaviors In this one-day session, participants will be able to understand through surveys, participation and group activities these objectives: --Learn how emotional intelligence is an effective tool in emotional dynamics --Discover how emotions influence thinking and behavior --Relate factors that contribute to emotional balance --Understand the critical role of emotions in the workplace --Identify factors that influence emotional development --Assess how to deal with anger --Identify Toxic workers and the impact they have on the organization --Analyze factors that contribute to workplace violence --Common emotional styles --My Strategy for achieving emotional control AREA Alabama Rural Electric Association
