Certified Utility Safety Professional (CUSP) Safety Leadership Review and CUSP Exam
Dates: Feb 23 - 24, 2016
Location: AREA Montgomery
The Certified Utility Safety Professional - CUSP certification program is the only program that offers safety credentials to utilities and related contractors. A two-tier, color-designated program geared towards individual growth and increased value for employers supports the certification process.
- Candidates should first check the eligibility requirements when considering entering the program.
- Next you need to complete the application. Be very thorough in this process as all CUSP applications are reviewed by a committee of industry peers. They will determine your eligibility to enter the CUSP program based on the information you provide.
- The CUSP exam is comprised of 100 questions on the base exam and 30 questions on the endorsement exam. Most CUSP candidates take the T&D endorsement, but you may also take the Gas or Power Generation endorsement. We've had many candidates who take multiple endorsements.
- Once approved to enter the program you'll be provided registration/payment instructions. There is a limit to the class size so the sooner you apply and register the better.
Most questions can be answered by visiting www.usoln.org. Attached is the brochure promoting CUSP. Today we;re approaching 800 utility safety and operations professionals that have earned the CUSP designation. If you would like to connect with someone regarding the CUSP program please contact Catherine Cox or give her a call at 815.459.1796
